Davie, Fl., January 15, 2014, The Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation and University101.com have teamed up to develop non-traditional scholarships for college and college bound students. To kick off the new partnership, the first Monday of each month has been tagged “Movie Monday,” the day on which a new movie quiz will be announced. Students will have up to three weeks to watch the movie and log into their account to compete for scholarship money and movie tickets. In the month of October, The Godfather will be up and run as the first movie challenge. The winner will receive free movie tickets!
University101.com’s Movie Monday is the start point to launching a blog section that will allow students to review movies based on the reviews of other college students that have similar tastes in movies, music, and humor.
University 101 believes in CKSF’s model that a scholarship doesn’t have to be academic. Not all students graduate at the top of their class, nor have outstanding essay writing skills. For this reason, The Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation has developed a wide range of online scholarships quizzes for all kinds of students. They’re purely based on how well a student knows a subject and require no essays, nor a high GPA. The FBI Scholarship is one of CKSF’s most popular scholarships and the one that launched the foundation into international fame.
University101.com is a website dedicated to educating students on college life, whether they’re already in college or still in high school. It will help answer any doubt future college students may have by hearing advice from students already in college. The goal of this partnership is to create wisdom on college grounds and give a fun incentive for doing so at the same time.

About Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation
Developed and administered at Nova Southeastern University's Fischler School of Education, the Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation (CKSF) creates unique opportunities for students of all ages by awarding scholarships and prizes through the use of Internet-based quiz competitions. Students who answer the greatest number of questions correctly in the shortest amount of time are declared contest winners. Since 2001, CKSF has awarded over $350,000 to 800 participants in the United States. CKSF scholarships can be used at the school of the winners' choice.
