About the Scholarship
What is a credit score? Which animal symbolizes the Republican Party? How many countries are there in the world? The BYG Scholarship is a monthly scholarship and team competition for high school students based on things you should know Before You Graduate.
Eligibility
All U.S. high school students
Award(s)
5 - $250 scholarships to the team with the highest team score
BYG Plaque to the school with the highest team score
How it Works
Participants must register with CKSF to take the scholarship quizzes. The Challenge Round quiz is open for two weeks in the beginning of each month. All students at a high school who take the quiz become part of that school's "team." The top 20 scores at each school are added together to get the school score. The school with the highest score in each state advances their top five (5) students to take the Championship Round quiz. At the end of the competition, the highest scoring school earns a plaque and five $250 scholarships are awarded to the top five (5) students.
