High School Biology Scholarship

About the Scholarship

The High School Biology Scholarship is both an individual scholarship and a team competition for high school students. It rewards the top scoring student and declares the top school in the country as the National Championship Winner. This online quiz competition covers a common biology curriculum making it a great resource to see what you know about general biology.

1st place October - December 2014 - $250 Scholarship
1st place February - April 2015 - $250 Scholarship
School with highest team score - National Championship Trophy

How it Works

Participants must register with CKSF to take the scholarship quizzes.
There are two rounds, the "Challenge Round" and the "Championship Round." The Challenge Round has two quizzes and all students at a school that participate automatically become part of that school's "team." The top 20 scores at each school are added together to get the school team score. The school with the highest team score in each state advances to compete in the National Championship Round.

At the end of the Championship Round, the highest scoring school earns the National Championship Trophy and the overall highest scoring student receives a $250 scholarship which may be used at the college of his or her choice.

The High School Biology Scholarship is administered twice each a year (see dates below).
