This Nursing major at NAU’s College of Nursing worked hard and upheld strong study habits that helped her better pass the Intro to Nursing scholarship quiz and her midterm/finals. Joanne was awarded $250 dollars to help her pay for nursing school. Even though it wasn’t the full possible $1,000 amount because her university was not a “Tuition Back” school, Joanne was thrilled to receive any type of financial help. “NAU is expensive, students struggle to pay for it and every little bit helps.  I wish more schools would participate in the Tuition Back portion.  The $250 I won is just a drop in the bucket,” says Joanne.

This scholarship is particular in the sense that it helps generate motivation to further study for your course, not only to pass exams, but also with the incentive that money may be received for school. As Joanne told us, “It's a fast, simple, fun way to challenge yourself, reinforce your nursing knowledge, and possibly pay for tuition (or part of it).  You take a series of 15 -question multiple choice quizzes, and the highest scorer wins.  You are competing against other nursing students. As I said it’s, simple, fast and fun.”

Joanne was persistent and came out a strong winner in the end! Once a student wins, they cannot participate in that specific course again, but surely they can participate in the other three Nursing Tuition Back course scholarships until they win. Any student can keep participating until they win. This leaves our winner Joanne eligible to three more scholarships! Every student has the potential to winning up to $4,000 in scholarships!

Joanne is a happy winner who recommends this opportunity for all students in Nursing School! “Yes, definitely. Go for it,” says Joanne.

Therefore, all students in The College of Nursing should take Joanne as a figure of hope and motivation. She put in effort and achieved in the end a scholarship and preparation for her class! “Whenever I get an answer wrong, I do extra research so that I won't get it wrong next time (or in the real world).”  Register now at cksf.org to participate in the next upcoming round for the four categories in the Nursing Tuition Back Scholarship, Introduction to Professional Nursing, Anatomy & Physiology, Pathophysiology, and Pharmacology, and win up to $1,000 in tuition for that class!
